Went for a picnic yesterday morning with Cilla, Cece and Csu. Siryn couldn't join us coz she's down with the flu. Anyway, it was an impulsive decision made just a few days prior. Now, bear in mind that none of us have gone for a picnic in.. err... maybe the last decade??? 8D So when i suggested it, they thought i was totally whacked... but being the supportive friends that they are, they went along. :P We agreed not too be too gung-ho about the food OR the location and decided to go to a park nearby.
The weather held out rather nicely for us. I'm a little embarassed to admit that i didn't realize how nice the park is.. and SO near where i live. *knocks self on head for being DUH* Needless to say, we had a good time. Hmm... maybe we can make it a monthly 'de-stressing' outing?? ;)

wheres the park mate?
It's in Tmn Tun, near the IBM building. Will bring you there next time.
dunno where that is
Will be surprised if you know. :) It's about 20minutes away from where you used to stay.
I'll show you when you get here.
Haha! It's the same park where Jon and I would go to years ago....
Dear dRaGoNfLy WiNgS...You know you are just 20 minutes away from all that quietness..
It is the same with me..I really don't take advantage of things like I should.
I mean we are just 11 miles from Niagara Falls and we very rarely even go there.
When Bernie's brother was down from Alberta, we took him and his wife for a day down to the Falls and we were really suprised at what we had been missing..
Not that it has smartened us up any though Ameila..We haven't really gone back since and that was years ago!
We just take it for granted!
I remember once when Bernie and I were out west and visting the majestic Rocky Mountians, we stopped at a little cafe and where we were sitting, there was a couple of local people complaining their heads off..
"We just HAVE to get out of here!! It is Boredom City!"
Then his buddy said, "Yeh!! Let's go to Niagara Falls!!"
Bernie and I had to chuckle at that.
Here we were 2000 milea away from home enjoying the mountains and here were two people wanting to travel 2000 miles to see the mighty Niagara Falls to escape the boredom of the mountains!
People!! We are never content,eh?
Well my friend, I best tbe going to bed for a couple of hours because i have to get Bernie up for work for the day at 6 and then I, myself will be workng later on in the day.Take care...
Your day in the park sounded just wonderful.
