For as long as i can remember, i've been drawn to Dance. If there's one thing which i regret, it's that i never took classes when i was young. When watching dancers, whether live or in movies, they exude confidence.. poise.. style.. elegance - something which i often feel i lack. You can say it's not too late to learn now, but i know i don't have the discipline (and time) to follow through. My klutziness will probably do me more injury than good. :P
But as i sit here thinking about it, i realize that i have been 'dancing' all this time. Different days, different ways.. all moving to the rhythm of life. Some friends have moved on, to a different circle..a different beat and it's fine. There are times when i have to lead and times when i have to follow. Times when you don't have to have a partner but still move in tandem with the rest.
Once in a while, i will find myself standing alone, looking at the others twirling about me. Then someone will come along, extend a hand and remind me, it's only an interval. :) Sometimes they may stay on for the next dance, sometimes they don't.
So whether you have formal training or can only do the funky chicken dance... whether we can waltz through or just barely wing it...
Shall we dance?

I suppose you and I have had our own brand of dance. hahaha!
Possibly a bit hiphop-ish when we were younger - angular and awkward. Now that we're older, I'd like to think we've mastered something spectacular like the samba or rumba - sexy, spicy and show-stopping!!
Still too young for the waltz though.....LOL!
Hehehe... as long as we're still dancing and having fun... who cares?!! ;)
Hi Amelia.
You are such a good friend.
You never forget Bernie and on the special days and I love you so much for it!
Time seems such a premium these days and I really don't know where it all goes!
I always like to see the pretty dances too.I could never dance myself other than the polka.
Bernie is a really good dancer and I saw that at both of my nieces weddings. So nimble and light in his feet as he danced with my many nieces!
He had a lot of fun and so did they!
My favorite dance to watch is the waltz...Some how it is so romantic.
I am going to come and see you more because Bernie has arranged it so that I can use the lap top just resting on the couch.
I have to go to Hamilton to the specialist. He might have to put a pace maker in me and I am a little scared.
I just found out last month that I have myontonis dystrophy.
It is a disease where your muscles are getting weaker.
It was so nice to hear from you.
Happy Valentines Day...Love Terry
