Raising 'good luck'

Yee Sang - a must for every CNY. Traditionally eaten only on the 7th Day of CNY, now it's available throughout the 15 days of CNY celebration and some people even have it a few times. Talk about being extra 'prosperous'. ;)



Yummmm... Quail marinated with soy sauce, 5-spice powder and honey. Then fried to perfection. Not your usual CNY dish but i enjoyed this nonetheless.

Would you believe it, I had my first taste of yee sang this CNY at my company's CNY lunch today. Sad, I know :P

my friend in japan has a pet quail...in fact it died last week...i hope you sleep at night!

Siryn,i think i've eaten Yee Sang about 4-5 times already. Getting sick of it. :P

G, was that the same pet quail you were planning to have for your Christmas dinner last year?? Hahahahaha....
