Another favourite - Koay Teow T'ng. Rice noodles cooked in meat broth. Usually served
with meat balls, fish balls, fish cakes and veg.
A trip home will be incomplete without Char Koay Teow, one of the many hawker dishes which Penang is famous for. Flat rice noodles stir-fried with beansprouts, prawns, cockles, egg & chili.

welcome back! that prawn thing that penang is famous for is my favourite! hey, did you know they moved the big famous hawker stall thing in penang from the sea front??
You mean the hawkers at Gurney Drive? I didn't go there but was told the move was temporary while they upgraded the old place.
Err...what prawn thing? You mean the Prawn Noodles?
I think me meant the char kway teow... the plate in ur pic had 2 big prawns right on top :P
