You know what i did last...week

I'M BACK!!!! Had a thoroughly unproductive (by my standards) 10 days in Penang. If i'm not plonked in front of the TV hugging a huge tin of crisps/cookies, i'll be shuffling about in my flip-flops sans make-up and hair sticking out in peaks & horns. Everything seem to move at a slower pace back there. I had to slow down my walking pace so much that i swear i saw a snail over-take me. 8)

Visited most my relatives and collected a generous sum of ang pows while deftly dodging the "haiya...why you still single?" questions. Hahahaha... Didn't really make efforts to call my old friends. Wanted to keep a low profile this time. Met up with Csu when she came up for a day and had a quick 'precious hour' catch-up with Vix. Other than that, it was a 'me-time' holiday. ;)

Dear Amelia...Nice to hear your voice again!
And it surely sounds like you are really rested.
Did the time really go slowly or did you wish that you could stay ANOTHER ten days?

You are pretty enough you don't NEED makeup anyways...flip-flops are more comfortable than high heels, and your hair wouldn't be in peaks and horns if you let it grow back nice and long again!
Nag! Nag! Nag!...I know!!

So the snail beat you did he??..Ha!

WHAT are "ang pows"?

Why are you single?
I had an old friend that used to tell me, "Marry in haste...Repent at your leisure!!"

Glad you had a good time dRaGoNfLy WiNgS!!.....Love Terry

terry, for some reason, A has encountered more than her fair share of patently unmarriageable young men: workaholics, casanovas, commitment-phobics, emotional fuckwits, etc etc.... :P

Welcome back, m'dear! *hugs A*

Everything really moves slower in Penang. People are more laid-back and not in a hurry to go places. :)

"Ang pows" are red envelopes filled with money. Usually given by married couples to singles during CNY. Click on the word 'ang pow' in my previous post "in excess" and it'll link you to a more detailed explanation.

Why am i still single?? Maybe because Men are like parking lots; the good ones are taken and the ones left are handicapped or too far away. Hahahaha...

My friend said "Men are like bank accounts; without money, they don't generate much interest." :D

PS:I'm growing my hair long again. ;)
