Yes my friends... the Malaysia Mega Sale has started and it's on for 11 weeks!!! Discounts! Mark-downs! Best Buys! It's everywhere!!! Shopping centres are packed like sardines and believe me, some even smell like them with all sorts of 'strange' people crowding to get a good bargain. Ewwww....
You can almost tell who's married and who's not. ;) Boyfriends will be the eager beavers trailing after their girlfriends while she continues piling more clothes on him as she scours through the store before heading to the fitting room. Husbands are probably 'smarter' or should i say, more 'experienced'. They'll be the ones sitting on the benches outside with the bags while their wives rummage in the 'mad house'. Hahahahaha....
My phone has been rather busy too with calls and sms-es as to which stores have started their sale. I think between Misako and myself, we've been watching brands like the stock market, reporting which have started their sale and speculating when the others will follow suit. Top players on our list - MNG, Zara, blook and Cats Whiskers. From the sound of it, you'd think we've invested in these companies. 8P Maybe... to a certain extent, since we have contributed to their billings with our purchases. Our ROI? A wardrobe full of last season's trend. Hehehehehe.... Doesn't seem to smart eh? But then again, why pay exhorbitant full price when you can get it at half or less, just a month or so later?
With my social calendar filled for the next few months with weddings, this is a good a time as any to indulge..... Wheeeeee.... Thank God for Visa & MasterCard!!! Hahahahaha......
